Zodiac FreeRider FR350iQ Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner combines cordless operation, intelligent navigation and dedicated floor, wall and waterline cleaning in one compact robotic pool cleaner. Designed for in ground swimming pools up to 15 x 5 metres, the FR350 iQ removes the power cable normally associated with robotic cleaners, allowing it to move freely throughout the pool during its cleaning cycle.
Smart S pattern navigation works with advanced onboard sensors to provide efficient cleaning coverage. Active front and rear brushes help dislodge debris from pool surfaces while the cleaner collects material in its 4 litre filter canister. The standard 180 micron filter is designed for everyday debris such as leaves, stones and sand, while the 3 micron ultra fine filter can be used when finer material such as silt and some algae is present.
The rechargeable 10.4 Ah lithium ion battery provides up to 3 hours of operating time from a full charge. Charging takes less than 4 hours. Four cleaning modes can be selected directly from the cleaner, including floor, walls, floor and walls and waterline. A fifth multi day mode is available through the Fluidra Pool App and provides several shorter floor cleaning cycles spread over multiple days.
App connectivity also provides cleaning cycle selection, end of cycle notifications and performance optimisation through automatic updates. Zodiac notes that app communication is lost while the cleaner is underwater.
At the end of a cleaning cycle, the FR350 iQ can climb to the waterline and wait for removal. When connected to the app, a notification is sent while the cleaner is waiting at the waterline. Its design allows up to 95 percent of retained water to drain for easier lifting. A manual retrieval hook is also supplied for bringing the cleaner to the waterline using a standard pool pole.
The transparent top window makes it easy to check debris levels without opening the cleaner. The filter canister is accessed from the top, allowing it to be removed and rinsed without needing to turn the cleaner over.

Multi Day mode provides floor cleaning over several days without needing to remove and recharge the cleaner between each scheduled cycle. Available programs are 4 x 45 minute cycles, 3 x 60 minute cycles or 2 x 90 minute cycles.

180 Micron Filtration
The general purpose 180 micron filter canister captures everyday pool debris including leaves, sand and small stones.
3 Micron Ultra Fine Filtration
The ultra fine filter can be combined with the main filter canister when finer material such as silt and some algae needs to be collected. Zodiac recommends replacing the ultra fine filter every 30 uses for optimum filtration performance.
4 Litre Top Access Filter Canister
A generous 4 litre filter capacity reduces the need for frequent emptying. The transparent window allows debris levels to be checked quickly and the filter is removed through the top of the cleaner.
Active Front and Rear Brushes
Active brushes positioned at both the front and rear help loosen dirt and debris from pool surfaces while the cleaner moves.
Waterline Parking
When the battery becomes low at the end of the cycle, the cleaner climbs the pool wall and waits at the waterline for approximately 10 minutes. App users receive a notification during this period.
Up to 95 Percent Water Release
The cleaner is designed to release up to 95 percent of retained water during removal, reducing the weight that needs to be lifted from the pool.
Suitable for Multiple Pool Surfaces
The FR350 iQ is specified for concrete, pebblecrete, quartzon, fibreglass, vinyl and tiled pools. A buoyancy kit is supplied for use where additional wall climbing assistance is required in tiled or mosaic pools.

The correct Zodiac FreeRider FR350iQ app is the Fluidra Pool App, available for compatible Apple iOS and Android devices. The FR350 iQ should not be confused with other Zodiac equipment that uses the iAquaLink app.
Once the FreeRider FR350iQ has been added to the Fluidra Pool App, you can access additional cleaner functions and information from your phone.
The Fluidra Pool App allows FR350iQ owners to:

It is important to note that WiFi communication with the FR350iQ is lost while the cleaner is underwater. App functions that require a live connection are therefore available when the cleaner is able to communicate with the network, rather than providing continuous underwater remote control.

Warranty
The Zodiac FreeRider FR350 iQ is currently listed by Zodiac Australia with a 2 year residential warranty. Wearable parts including the filter canister, tracks and roller brush have a 1 year warranty. The ultra fine filter is excluded from the warranty.
Setup and First Use Guide
- Fully charge the Zodiac FreeRider FR350 iQ before its first cleaning cycle.
- Charge the cleaner indoors from an RCD protected outlet at least 3.5 metres from the pool. The charging area should be protected from direct sunlight, rain and other weather.
- Make sure the cleaner is completely dry before connecting the charger.
- Once charging is complete, disconnect the charger and securely close the protective charging port cap before placing the cleaner into the pool.
- If app control is required, install the Fluidra Pool App on a compatible phone with WiFi and Bluetooth enabled. The cleaner can be added by scanning its QR code or entering the Cloud ID and Access Code.
- Turn the cleaner on and select Floor and Walls, Floor, Walls or Waterline mode. Multi Day mode is selected through the app.
- Submerge the cleaner vertically and gently move it to release trapped air. Allow the bubbles to stop before letting the cleaner sink to the pool floor.
- The cleaning cycle begins automatically once the cleaner detects that it is in the pool water.
- Do not enter the swimming pool while the robotic cleaner is operating.
Maintenance Tips
- Rinse the filter canister with fresh non chlorinated water after every cleaning cycle.
- Periodically wash the filter canister with mild soapy water and a soft bristle brush to remove fine particles trapped in the filter material.
- Rinse the 3 micron ultra fine filter thoroughly inside and out when it has been used.
- Zodiac recommends replacing the ultra fine filter every 30 uses to maintain effective filtration.
- Keep the cleaner’s sensor clean by gently wiping it with a soft dry cloth.
- Check the brushes and tracks periodically for wear or damage.
- Make sure the cleaner is dry before charging.
- Do not leave the robotic cleaner in the pool during chemical treatments.
- For long term storage, fully charge and clean the cleaner before storing it in a cool, dry and well ventilated location.
- Recharge the battery every six months during extended storage to help maintain battery condition.
