Installation Guide for the Reltech Platinum Pool & Spa PLT100 1hp

• Position the pump on a stable, well drained base near your pool water source for easy maintenance and optimal priming.
• Ensure the pump’s rear fan shroud is at least 100mm clear of any obstructions to provide sufficient cooling.
• Connect the pump using self aligning inlet and outlet barrel unions designed for 50mm or 65mm PVC pipes; a straight run of pipe (minimum 300mm) before the inlet is recommended for smoother operation.
• Prime the pump by removing the strainer basket lid, filling the basket area with water, then securely replacing the lid before powering on.
• Use the supplied 2m power lead to connect to a 240V 50Hz power outlet. For hard wired installations, always engage a qualified electrician.
• Once installed, switch on the pump and verify a consistent water flow free from air pockets.
