A two stage planetary gear drive propels dual PVC brushes over every contour, while the ultrathin double layer microfilter captures both coarse debris and fine particles. The gyroscope assisted navigation algorithm ensures complete coverage of floors, walls and waterlines without supervision. Via Bluetooth and the BWT Best Water Home app you can schedule cleanings, activate spot clean or turbo mode, adjust LED lighting and receive live notifications. When the filter is full, an LED on the power supply illuminates and a single button release allows quick top access removal and rinse. Compact yet robust at 5.75 kg  and runs on under 150 W for eco-friendly operation.

Installation Guide Overview

• Place the power supply at least 3.6 m from pool edge, 12 cm above ground.
• Uncoil the floating cable completely; connect to power supply.
• Lay excess cable neatly beside the unit—never leave loops in the water.
• Gently lower the F1 R into the pool; let it sink fully before powering on.
• Plug into a protected outlet and press “On.” The robot begins its selected cycle.
• To pause mid cycle, press “On/Off” once; press again to resume

Maintenance Tips

• After Each Cycle: Press filter-release button, lift out filter cartridge, rinse both sides and air-dry.
• Monthly Propeller Check: Remove debris around propeller under the outlet cover, then reattach securely.
• Cable Care: Spread and coil the floating cable after each use to prevent tangles.
• Storage: Disconnect power, dry all parts thoroughly, and store indoors away from sun exposure.
